To Export a V8i ProjectWise Managed WorkSpace to a Local Directory
This task details
how to export a V8i managed workspace from
ProjectWise to a local directory. This procedure
works with V8i workspaces as well as CONNECT Edition.
- Open ProjectWise and login to the datasource.
- Right click on the managed workspace and select Export from the context menu.
- Select the Send to Folder -Creates unmanaged local copies option and click Next.
- Click the Browse button to navigate to the Export folder where the workspace will be exported.

Click
Next to export the workspace.
The workspace will be exported to the
specified local directory.
Once managed workspace is exported locally use the Migrate V8i WorkSpace option to migrate the workspace to the CONNECT Edition configuration.
